Athletes from the regional Youth Sports School and the Kherson Professional Sports College won prize places at the freestyle wrestling competitions for adults and under-20s that took place in Lviv.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Bronze medals in their weight categories were won by Nadir-khan Musayev (up to 70 kg) and Oleksandr Bairov (up to 74 kg).
Also, Mykhailo Pryadko took third place in the 86 kg category.
In addition, Emir-khan Musayev placed seventh in the 70 kg category.
The athletes are coached by A. Meshkov, K. Meshkov, D. Bairov, V. Savchenko and Ye. Bevzyuk.
Earlier it was reported that the Kherson athlete Kateryna Tatus successfully competed at the Ukraine U18 championship in table tennis among athletes with hearing impairments.
