An athlete from Kherson region, Anton Kutkin, won the gold medal at the Ukrainian bench press championship.
This was reported by the director of the youth sports school, Ruslan Malashenko.
In the weight category up to 105 kg, he took first place.
The competitions are taking place from March 1 to 8 in Chernivtsi. On March 4, as part of the championship, competitions were held among athletes of the Special Olympics of Ukraine.
Recall, at this Olympics Kherson swimmers won four awards at the All-Ukrainian tournament.
