The head of the Kherson MVA, Yaroslav Shanko, made amendments to his own order “On the introduction of labor duty and the organization of socially useful works on the territory of the Kherson city territorial community”.
This is stated in the order published on the MVA website.
With this new order he approved a revised List of ordering entities (enterprises, institutions, organizations, etc.) of socially useful works on the territory of the Kherson city territorial community.
The list of organizations was expanded to include the charitable organization “Charitable Foundation “Light of Kherson”, and the public organization ”Alliance of Communities Vidnova”.
These organizations are headed by Tetiana Akhtemenko and Iryna Derev’yanko.
They need labor to perform auxiliary work.
Recall that labor duty in Kherson was introduced in May 2023. It was introduced temporarily, for the duration of martial law in Ukraine on the territory of the Kherson city community.
These works will involve “able-bodied persons, including persons who are not subject to conscription for military service, who by age and state of health have no restrictions on working in conditions of martial law (except able-bodied persons who are engaged in work in the defense sector and in the sphere of ensuring the livelihood of the population and are reserved by enterprises during martial law for the purpose of performing work that has a defensive character, as well as persons involved in carrying out national resistance measures)”.
