Russian singer SHAMAN, who in 2023 came “to raise the fighting spirit” of Russian troops in occupied Kherson, inadvertently helped Ukrainian analysts expose Russian positions.
Analysts from the Molfar Intelligence Institute analyzed footage from the artist’s visit and determined the exact location of the filming.
Among the clues were a distinctive wooden building with a roof, a transformer by a pole, a camouflage net, road signs, portable toilets and UAZ vehicles.
Thanks to these details specialists established the coordinates of the location — 46.310545419530364, 34.77782752782351, near Rykove in the Kherson region.
SHAMAN (real name — Yaroslav Dronov) – a Russian singer, composer and producer. Until 2022 he positioned himself as a pop-rock performer, but after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine he fully moved into the propaganda segment.
Ukraine, as well as a number of European countries, have banned Dronov’s entry because of his support for Russia’s aggression.
