The SBU detained a woman in Kherson region who prepared and sent electronic letters to state institutions’ addresses in which she questioned the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

As the investigation established, a resident of Kherson region called the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine “an internal civil conflict”.
In addition, she justified the temporary occupation of Crimea and parts of the territory of Donbas, Zaporizhzhia Oblast and the left bank of Kherson region.
Supporters of Russia were also detained in Kyiv region, Cherkasy region and Zakarpattia. They spread disinformation and urged Russians to continue shelling Ukraine’s energy and heat-generating enterprises.
A resident of Zakarpattia asked “to separate” the western region of Ukraine.
The detainees were notified of suspicion in accordance with the crimes committed under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: part 1 of Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) and parts 1, 2, 3 of Article 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants). They face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Earlier it became known that in Kyiv an agent-combat group of the Russian GRU was detained, which was preparing contract killings of public figures and military personnel in Kyiv, in the composition of which was a woman from Kherson.
