The Security Service detained a local guard of a garage cooperative and his wife, who were directing Russian attacks on Kherson and calling for the capture of the city.
The Security Service of Ukraine reported this.
As the investigation established, on social networks the suspect justified the temporary occupation of the left bank of the Kherson region and called for the capture of the regional center.
His wife was engaged in directing Russian strikes against the Kherson community. It was established that under the guise of walking the dog she surveyed the area to identify and pass on to Russian military the locations of the Defense Forces.

For contacts with the occupiers the female suspect initially used her own mobile phone. Then, to conceal communications, Russian special service operatives delivered her a package with a new smartphone from the left bank using a drone.

SBU officers documented the crimes of both suspects and detained them at their place of residence.
During searches of the couple’s home, mobile phones with evidence of crimes benefiting the Russian Federation were seized.
Investigators of the Security Service informed the detainees of suspicion on charges under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 2 of Article 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement or placement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed during martial law).
- Part 3 of Article 436-2 (justifying, recognizing as lawful, denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, and glorifying its participants).
The perpetrators face up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
