The Security Service of Ukraine has announced suspicion against Tetyana Nefyodova, a resident of the village of Kairy, who took part in organizing illegal Russian presidential elections held in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.
The text of the suspicion was published on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, from December 2023 to March 2024 Nefyodova facilitated the organization and conduct of the so‑called Russian presidential elections, urged residents of Kairy to go vote, and went around the village carrying a ballot box.
For this she is suspected of collaborationist activity (Part 2 of Art. 28 and Part 5 of Art. 111‑1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It was previously reported that since the start of the war in the Kherson region more than 2.6 thousand crimes against national security have been recorded.
