The Security Service of Ukraine has notified a resident of Crimea, Oleksandr Sorokin, of suspicion of aiding the aggressor state.
This is reported on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The investigation established that in August 2024 Sorokin began cooperating with representatives of the so‑called public organization “Union of Donbas Volunteers”. Together with the head of this structure, Sorokin organized the transfer of resources to Russian military personnel deployed on the Kherson direction.
Among the transferred property were recorded stove-heaters (burzhuyky), generators, camouflage nets and other items necessary to ensure the living conditions and combat capability of the occupying units.
In addition, Sorokin systematically assists other units that are taking part in hostilities against Ukraine.
For this, Oleksandr Sorokin is charged under Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — aiding the aggressor state.
Earlier we wrote that the SBU notified the technical supervision engineer Pavlo Andriievskyi, who became a pseudo-official and an appointee of the temporarily occupied Kherson region.
