The SBU has announced a suspicion against Kherson resident Serhiy Koshovaty, who took a job at the seized penal colony.
This is stated on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to investigators, around August 2022 Koshovaty started working at the seized Northern Correctional Colony No. 90 and obtained the post of security department inspector and the rank of major of the internal service.
For this he is suspected under part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — collaborationist activity.
According to the NACP registry, before the full-scale invasion Koshovaty served worked in the Department of Government Courier Communication of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine in the city of Kherson, but on February 28, 2022 he resigned from the post.
Earlier it was reported that a Russian was notified of suspicion for leading the occupation administration in Bekhtery in the Kherson region.
