The occupying governor of Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, intends to develop shipping in Kherson region.
He told pro-Russian media about this.
“The prospects for the development of shipping between Kherson region and other regions on the coast of the Sea of Azov are very high”, – Saldo noted.
However, the occupying governor admitted that shipping is currently “limited”.
“We can send cargo directly to the ports of Rostov Oblast and Krasnodar Krai”, – Saldo is convinced.
From time to time he promises to restore the ports in Henichesk and Skadovsk, but nothing moves beyond promises.
In May this year it became known that the occupiers transferred their “Ports of Kherson” to budget financing.
At the same time, employees of this institution have not received salaries for almost half a year.
