The occupying governor of Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, invited UN Secretary-General António Guterres to visit the left bank.
This was reported by pro-Russian media.
Saldo suggested to the UN Secretary-General “leave the office” and personally speak with local residents” in the occupied territory.
The occupying authorities stated they were ready to organize the visit and allegedly ensure full security for UN representatives.
It is not yet known whether Guterres will agree.
In July last year Saldo also invited to the occupied territory of Kherson the father of American billionaire Elon Musk, Errol Musk. He did not come.
