The so-called governor of Kherson Oblast, Volodymyr Saldo, said that residents of the temporarily occupied left bank do not need to relocate due to the deterioration of the security and humanitarian situation.
He said this in an interview with a pro-Russian media outlet.
According to Saldo, there are currently no grounds for evacuating the population.
At the same time, he noted that people can decide for themselves whether to remain in the region if they have concerns about their own safety and the safety of their loved ones.
The pseudo-leader also claims that people, on the contrary, are returning to the region to relax on local beaches. Obviously, Saldo did not recall that on the left bank this summer no official beach will be open.
Recall that last week the adviser to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Serhiy Sternenko, urged residents of the occupied districts of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk oblasts to consider the possibility of leaving these territories, because, in his words, the coming months could be particularly difficult for the Russian grouping in southern Ukraine and in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Meanwhile, on the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region, there are serious problems with fuel and electricity.
