The occupation administration of the left-bank Kherson region acknowledged a critical situation with electricity payments. The occupation governor of the region, Volodymyr Saldo, said that the debt of illegal budgetary organizations has reached over 309 million rubles.

According to him, the debts continue to grow rapidly: only since the beginning of 2026 the amount of underpayment has increased by another 24 million rubles.
“In some cases funds for payment were allocated but did not reach the supplier. In addition, there are organizations registered as individual housing construction (IZHS) but operating as legal entities. There are also companies that have not been re-registered in accordance with Russian legislation, but use electricity and accumulate debts», — Saldo noted.
At present a significant portion of the cases concerning debt collection are in the so-called «courts».
