The occupation-appointed governor of the left-bank Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, announced plans to create a resort area in the village of Khorly on the Black Sea coast.
As he reports on his social networks, the project is being developed jointly with the Unified Institute of Spatial Planning of the Russian Federation.
Saldo asserts that in Khorly they plan to arrange “a coastal territory, create recreational areas and develop tourist infrastructure”.
He also stated that “he expects investors to arrive and an increase in the number of tourists, in particular families with children and young people”.
Earlier, the occupation authorities announced plans to create a yacht marina in Khorly.
In addition, the occupiers announced the creation of a landscape park on the Arabat Spit.
Meanwhile, Saldo signed a decree on the introduction of a technogenic state of emergency in almost the entire temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast.
