In occupied Oleshky on the left bank of the Kherson region — the horrifying consequences of the Russian occupation: mangled houses, desolate streets and a city that is increasingly being turned into ruins.
A video has been published online showing what the city looks like now.
Earlier it was reported that the International Committee of the Red Cross stated its readiness to assist in taking the necessary measures to organize the departure of civilians from temporarily occupied Oleshky in the Kherson region, where a humanitarian crisis is ongoing.
It should be noted that the situation in Oleshky remains critical. The city lacks stable electricity and gas supplies, and access to drinking water is limited. People are forced to conserve basic resources, and food deliveries are often complicated due to the danger of shelling.
According to Ukrainian authorities, in the city still around 2 thousand civilians reside.
Despite this the local illegal administration does not acknowledge, that there are serious humanitarian problems in the city, and claims that there are no evacuation measures for the population there.
The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine said that are working to find solutions to protect the population of Oleshkok.
