In the morning of January 7, Russian forces struck the city center of Kherson. So far, one person has been reported killed as a result of shrapnel wounds.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
The identity of the deceased is currently being established by law enforcement agencies.
Also, the blast wave from the shelling damaged building facades and blew out windows. Municipal workers are dealing with the aftermath, Shanko wrote.
