In the Kherson region a Russian drone attacked an evacuation group of police and volunteers evacuating residents from the frontline Bilozerka.
The National Police reported this.
Five elderly people from two families were being evacuated. Due to constant shelling their homes were damaged and the car was destroyed, so they decided to leave together with their pets, the report said.
During the second trip, law enforcement recorded the approach of a Russian drone, which began to line up an attack on the car with civilians. The drone became entangled in a protective net and exploded above the vehicle.
According to the police, no one was injured as a result of the attack. The police officers, the evacuated residents and their animals remained unharmed.
The car suffered minor damage and was able to continue moving. The evacuation operation was completed successfully.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of artillery shelling of the Korablenyi district of Kherson a 14-year-old teenager was injured.
