During the day, Russian forces shelled one of the educational institutions in the Central district of Kherson, as a result of which the building sustained significant damage.
This was reported on social media by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
As a result of the artillery shelling, the institution’s walls were smashed, windows were blown out, and educational rooms were severely damaged.
According to preliminary information, no one was injured as a result of the shelling.
Currently, measures to eliminate the consequences of the strike are underway, the official noted.
Overall, in the Kherson community as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and 130 educational institutions were damaged, this is 193 buildings and structures, of which: 59 gymnasiums and schools, 71 kindergartens, 9 vocational education institutions and 10 – extracurricular education institutions.
