On Christmas, Russian troops shelled with artillery the market area in the Central district of Kherson. As a result of the attack, a 46-year-old market worker was killed, and two other people were wounded.
This was reported by the Kherson regional police.
The strike hit the market stalls at a time when civilians were at the market. The deceased man was at his workplace.
Two of the injured also required medical assistance. Doctors diagnosed the 38-year-old woman with a mine-explosive injury, contusion, concussion and an acute stress reaction. The 50-year-old man suffered a contusion, blast injury, as well as abrasions to the face and shoulder.
