The Kherson region police are investigating a war crime by Russian servicemen who on December 4, 2022 shot two elderly people in a boat.
The investigative department of the Kherson Regional Main Directorate of the National Police reports this.
According to the investigation, that day, at around 11:00, Russian servicemen opened fire at the boat with automatic weapons while a 75-year-old woman and a 76-year-old man were crossing. They were traveling between the islands of Bilohrudove and Velyky Potemkinsky.
As a result of the shooting, the woman died on the spot from her wounds.
