Russian forces attacked the Kherson thermal power plant for the fourth time since the beginning of February.
This was reported by the chairman of the board of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” Serhiy Koretskyi.
According to him, the enemy carried out artillery strikes on the facility over the day, with at least five hits recorded.
“We are coordinating actions with local authorities and working through all possible options to provide heating,” Serhiy Koretskyi said.
Recall that in the first two days of 2026 Russian forces shelled the Kherson thermal power plant more than ten times. Due to systematic attacks, the station can no longer operate in its usual mode.
After the systematic shelling of the Kherson thermal power plant, between 10,000 and 12,000 people in Kherson were left without heating.
