Russian occupiers spread a fake about the alleged capture of a Ukrainian serviceman on the territory of the Korabel neighborhood in Kherson. In fact, this information is not true.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the 34th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade of the Marine Corps.
The brigade emphasized that the serviceman mentioned in the Russian reports is alive, uninjured, and continues to carry out combat missions as part of the unit.
The unit notes that fakes from the Russians are part of a systematic information campaign. According to the Ukrainian military, the enemy uses fabricated successes for internal reports and attempts to justify its own failures on the Kherson front.
“Cases have already been recorded in open sources when falsified reports about ‘control’ over the islands of the Kherson region led to internal conflicts within the enemy’s command staff and serious consequences for the authors of such reports,” – the post reads.
Earlier, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, already refuted the Russian fake about the alleged strengthening of the defense of the Korabelny district of Kherson.
