Because of strikes by Ukrainian forces, the occupiers cannot bring personnel, ammunition, and equipment to the forward positions on the left bank of Kherson Oblast.
This was reported by the commander of the artillery battery of the 34th Separate Marine Brigade, Yevhen Kravchenko, on the Army TV broadcast.
According to him, Russian logistics has become difficult not only directly near the front line but across the occupied part of Kherson Oblast as a whole. Because of this, there is almost no Russian equipment in the sector, and Russian soldiers are forced to move mostly on foot.
“Basically, if they move in our direction, it is on foot and with a very big detour”, – said Kravchenko.
At the same time, Russian artillery continues to shell the right bank of Kherson Oblast. However, due to the threat of strikes by Ukrainian artillery and FPV drones, the occupiers were forced to pull some of their firing assets deeper into their positions.
The greatest danger at present is posed by camouflaged guns in the area of the Oleshky Sands and drone operators.
“It is easier for drone pilots to hide, especially in dense urban development. Therefore, this is a complex task: they must be detected and neutralized. We try to suppress them so that they cannot reach the city at all”, – said the serviceman.
Earlier it was reported that the occupiers set up their positions on the left bank of Kherson Oblast following the example of Hamas.
