The government of Russia promises to allocate about 5.8 billion rubles for the pension provision of residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, as pro-Russian media write.
“The funds provided in the federal budget will allow ensuring the payment of pensions assigned under regional legislation in the second quarter of 2026”, – the post reads.
Note that, as of September 2022, according to approximate estimates of the Ukrainian authorities, about 3 million pensioners lived in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Earlier we wrote that an Odesa court returned pension payments to a Kherson deputy who became a citizen of Russia.
