Russian authorities announced the creation of new demining units, including in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.
This is reported by Kremlin-controlled media.
According to representatives of the Russian authorities, at the first stage the units will be created “within the personnel numbers established for Russia’s EMERCOM”, and also as part of separate rescue military formations and centers.
Note that according to volunteers who work on the occupied left bank of Kherson region, currently the road to the town of Oleshky poses a deadly danger – the routes are mined, drones are operating, and metal spikes are scattered on the roadway. In the town effectively a humanitarian blockade is ongoing. The situation is similar in the town Hola Prystan.
