The State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted a law that allows suspending debt collection in territories with martial law or “counter-terrorist operation regime”.
This is reported by pro-Russian media.
The moratorium also extends to the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions temporarily occupied by Russian forces.
Exceptions include alimony, compensation for damages, and debts related to corruption.
