Russian forces shelled the central part of Kherson with cluster munitions, despite the announced agreement between the presidents of the US and Russia to halt shelling of Ukrainian cities for a week.
The attack is reported by MOST correspondents and the first deputy head of the Kherson Regional Council, Yuriy Sobolevskyi.
It should be noted that today US President Donald Trump said that he asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to refrain from missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and other populated areas.
“I personally asked Putin not to shoot at Kyiv and various cities for a week. He agreed to do it,” Trump said.
Remember, last night Russian forces from the temporarily occupied left bank of the Dnipro once again attacked downtown Kherson. As a result of the shelling, the hotel-restaurant complex “Muskat” was damaged.
Earlier we wrote that during 2025 Russian forces carried out about 146 thousand attacks, firing approximately 235 thousand shells and 400 guided aerial bombs.
