The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting summed up the results of the competition for broadcasting in 13 regions of Ukraine. According to the meeting held on February 19, a winner was determined in Kherson for the frequency 97.7 MHz.

The winner was the Kherson-based LLC «Ikson Media».
The company was the only applicant for this frequency. Previously it operated in the city under a temporary permit. Now the broadcaster has received a full license.
The regulator also determined winners in a number of frontline and border towns.
In total, 20 applicants were admitted to the competition announced in October 2025. The main condition for all winners remains strict compliance with the legislation regarding the share of songs and programs in the Ukrainian language.
Recall, radio X.On was created in December 2022. Its founder is Kateryna Tsymbalyuk, adviser to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
In February 2023, the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting issued LLC «Ikson Media» a temporary permit to broadcast in Kherson on the frequency 97.7 MHz.
