The pseudo-deputy of the occupation-installed Kherson Regional Duma Oleksiy Pikul has been suspected of collaborationism.
This is stated on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, in March 2025 Pikul voluntarily began cooperating with the occupation authorities and became a deputy of the so-called Kherson Regional Duma from the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, which he publicly announced on his Telegram channel.
In addition, Pikul is involved in supporting Russian military forces. In particular, he personally took part in acquiring and delivering vehicles for the needs of the so‑called volunteer battalion of the Russian Ministry of Defense “Bars-33”, whose fighters are fighting against the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the Kherson front, and he supplied charging devices to Rosgvardiya units to support the operation of drones and communications equipment.
He also takes part in meetings with the leadership of the occupation municipal districts, speaks at events for Russian holidays, and conducts ideological work with the local population.
For these actions, Oleksiy Pikul is suspected of collaborationist activity – part 5 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and part 1 of article 28 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
It should be noted that, according to occupation sources, before he became a pseudo-deputy, Pikul led a community of volunteer firefighters in Henichesk.
It is known that before the full-scale invasion his mother worked as the head of the state registration department in the executive committee of the Henichesk City Council, and in 2020 she ran for the Henichesk City Council from the “OPZZh” party.
Oleksiy Pikul’s father – Vadim Pikul – worked from 2004 at the Henichesk District Department for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, later retired, and in April 2022 joined the side of the occupation authorities, for which he was sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison.
