Novovorontsovskyi District Court found in absentia resident of Kakhovka Oleh Havryliuk guilty of collaborationist activity. He became a deputy of the occupation authorities from the Russian party “United Russia”.
This was reported by “IRS-South”.
According to the case materials, in September 2023 Havryliuk took part in the illegal elections to the occupation council of deputies of the Kakhovka community. After that he obtained the status of deputy and joined the permanent commission on industry, urban planning, infrastructure development and support for entrepreneurship.
The court found him guilty under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — collaborationist activity. Since Havryliuk already has a sentence for assisting the aggressor state, the court determined the final punishment — 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
According to “IRS-South”, before the occupation Havryliuk did not work in managerial positions. After the capture of Kakhovka the Russians appointed him to head the occupation water utility. In this position, according to the investigation, he helped the Russian military: provided them with bathing and laundry services and refueled their vehicles with fuel that the occupiers had taken from local farmers.
In August 2025 the Russians dismissed Havryliuk from the position of director of the water utility.
