By the end of 2025 Kherson region attracted UAH 2.5 billion in international aid, which is 65.4% more than last year.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
In addition, during the year the region concluded 23 new partnerships; the total number of international partners now stands at 305.
Also, 17 international aid projects were implemented in the areas of reconstruction, education, humanitarian support, security, and strengthening social cohesion.
Sweden played a special role in supporting the region, having taken patronage over Kherson region. It is noted that this allowed improved coordination of international assistance in the areas of institutional capacity building and sustainable development.
In addition, Lithuania, Sweden, Latvia and Estonia joined Kherson’s experience transfer program “Civil-military governance in the conditions of modern war”.
Earlier we wrote that around 50 cities in nearly 20 countries on six continents are joining the international wave of support for Kherson. Events are taking place from Norway to Japan, from South Africa to Australia, from Mexico to Bulgaria and the United States.
