The new member of the Kherson Regional Defense Council is the head of the regional SBU department, Volodymyr Vavroukh.
The relevant order was signed by the head of the Kherson OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Meanwhile, the former head of the regional SBU department, Artem Borysevych, was removed from the Council.
Recall that Volodymyr Vavroukh was appointed head of the SBU in the Kherson region in April 2026. Artem Borysevych now heads the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region.
