The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration (KHOVA), Oleksandr Prokudin, sent a submission for the dismissal of the former head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko.
Prokudin said this in an interview with MOST.
Roman Mrochko was appointed head of the Kherson City Military Administration directly by the President of Ukraine, however Oleksandr Prokudin could send a submission for his dismissal.
“I could. And I submitted. I could and I submitted.”, – said the head of the military administration.
Prokudin also admitted that the initiative for Mrochko’s resignation came from him. It was justified by issues that “hindered the existence of the Kherson region”.
“I saw this in the schools (referring to the construction of the so-called “underground schools” in Kherson, – MOST). I saw in some other issues that more, probably, hindered the existence of the Kherson region in general and had a negative impact on it. And on the president as well. I saw irreversible processes that were taking place”, – emphasized the head of the OVA.
President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed the former head of the Kherson MVA Roman Mrochko in April this year. In this position he was notable for an unprecedented level of corruption and, at the same time, the inaction on the part of law enforcement agencies.
Despite his dubious reputation, Roman Mrochko has for the second time launched an election campaign in Kherson.
