In 2025, 650 doctors worked in medical facilities in the Kherson region, who provided assistance to almost 28.8 thousand patients.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, during the year residents of the region were provided with about 780 thousand outpatient services. Emergency medical teams made over 47.4 thousand call-outs.
In the region 11 medical institutions resumed operations, two modular ambulatory clinics and five modular prefabs were opened. The region also received 21 emergency medical vehicles and three modular substations of the «emergency service». Currently 14 such underground hospitals are in operation, and protective infrastructure is being installed in 12 other institutions.
According to Prokudin, in 2025 the region opened three telemedicine centers, bringing their total number to 14. 150 doctors from various regions of Ukraine were brought in to work in medical institutions.
There are also 84 pharmacies operating in Kherson region. Under the «Affordable Medicines» program, 99.5 thousand prescriptions were filled for a total of 11.8 million hryvnias. Through the mobile pharmacy point, which serves 46 settlements, more than 8.1 thousand people received medicines. Within the «Ukrposhta. Pharmacy» project, 2120 orders were fulfilled.
It is separately reported that during the year the military were provided with about 7.1 thousand dental services, of which over a thousand were for dental prosthetics. The region also received 5.7 thousand blood donors.
Funding of the region’s medical institutions from the National Health Service of Ukraine in 2025 amounted to 1.36 billion hryvnias.
