President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed two-year state scholarships to the poet Anatoliy Kychynskyi and to the director of the Kherson Regional Universal Scientific Library named after Oles Honchar, Nadiia Korotun.
The corresponding decree was signed by the Head of State.
The state scholarship was awarded to Anatoliy Kychynskyi — a Ukrainian poet, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine and Merited Art Worker of Ukraine. He is the author of dozens of poetry collections.
Anatoliy Kychynskyi is a member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, the Association of Ukrainian Writers, the International Association of Writers and Publicists, an honorary member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, and an Honorary Citizen of Kherson.

Also among the scholarship recipients is Nadiia Korotun, director of the Kherson Regional Universal Scientific Library named after Oles Honchar, an Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine and a recipient of the Order of Princess Olga. She has worked in the library field for almost 49 years.
After the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Nadiia Korotun continues to work in Kherson. She coordinates the library’s activities remotely and implements documentary online projects.

Earlier we wrote that the Honored Journalist of Ukraine and former general director of the Kherson Regional State Television and Radio Company “Skifia” Valeriy Dolyna was awarded a state scholarship by the President of Ukraine.
