Athletes from Kherson region joined the roster of the Ukrainian national team, which won at the 2026 European Shooting Championships.

The competitions took place in Yerevan. As a result, the Ukrainian team took first place in the team standings, winning five gold, three silver and six bronze medals.
The best result among representatives of Kherson region was shown by Halyna Avramenko. She won two gold medals in the women’s team events in the GP-11 and GP-12 disciplines. She also placed fourth in the individual GP-11 competition, sixth in GP-12 — and fifth in the mixed GP-12 discipline.
Anastasiia Bilash took 13th place in the GP-11 event and 11th in GP-12.
Darya Shytko competed in rifle disciplines. In the 10 metre air rifle she scored 630.3 points and took 20th place. In the Trio format the athlete was 15th (624.1), and in the Solo discipline — 19th.
