President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded state honors to six employees of enterprises and institutions in Kherson.
This is stated in Presidential Decree No. 755/2026 dated August 21.
The Order “For Courage” III class was awarded to four employees of the Kherson Thermal Power Plant:
- workshop carpenter Anatoliy Bachynskyi;
- workshop driver Volodymyr Bevzyuk;
- workshop painter Mykola Malyuk;
- technical director – chief engineer Pavlo Plyas.
The same award was received by the bus driver of the municipal enterprise «Kherson Municipal Transport Service» Oleh Korniienko.
In addition, the head nurse of the Kherson City Clinical Hospital named after Yevhen Karabelesh, Liubov Samchynska, was conferred the honorary title «Honored Worker of Healthcare of Ukraine».
The decree was issued on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. The document states that the awards were conferred, in particular, for courage and selflessness, a significant personal contribution to the development of various spheres of public life, and the conscientious performance of professional duties.
