The Serbian citizen who was injured during the attack on a cafe in Horly turned out to be a supporter of Russia, Dragan Milosevic.
Occupier’s media report that Milosevic ended up in a hospital in occupied Simferopol.
Milosevic said that he sustained several wounds, but the report with him contains no details about that night’s events.
Russian media had written about Dragan Milosevic before. In 2012 he came to Kherson, and later he married a local resident there.
After the start of the full-scale invasion he moved to Kalanchak, where he found work in the local occupation administration. He took the position of head of the administrative and technical department.
In addition, Milosevic took part in propaganda segments where he spoke about “improvements in life” with the arrival of the Russians.
Note that under Russian law foreigners cannot hold positions in state or municipal service. At the same time, in the temporarily occupied territories Russia often ignores these norms, registering foreign citizens as hired workers or “specialists” in the so-called administrations that do not have legitimate status.
Recall, on the night of December 31 to January 1, 2026 in Horly the restaurant “Ukrainian Khata” was on fire; also the nearby hotel “Leo” was attacked. Allegedly 24 people died as a result of the strike.
On the morning of January 2, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine rejected these accusations. Later Ukrinform sources reported that the strike was aimed at legitimate military targets.
Currently the Russians emphasize that only civilians were killed in Horly. MOST has identified some of the dead. You can read more about this HERE and HERE.
