As of December 5, the heating season has still not started on the temporarily occupied left bank of Kherson Oblast.
According to Russia-controlled media, the left bank is 99.4% ready for the heating season. However, measures to start the heating are still underway.
It should be noted that as early as the end of October the so-called governor of Kherson Oblast, Volodymyr Saldo, assured that by November 5 all boiler houses should be operational, and services controlled by the occupiers were working on schedule.
However, at the end of November the occupation minister of construction, architecture and housing and communal services, Serhiy Kozupytsia, stated that on the left bank there is no centralized heating system at all and each facility needs its own source of heat supply.
The occupation services were allegedly supposed to prepare these sources for the heating season, but they still have not completed the work.
