55% of surveyed Kherson residents would like the city to have as many universities as there were before the start of the full-scale invasion.
This is evidenced by the results of a sociological survey conducted on behalf of the Kherson City Community Foundation “Zakhyst”.
Another 20% of respondents are ready to «sacrifice» private universities and only 2% — are in favor of merging all Kherson universities into one.
The survey was conducted from February 10 to 26, 2026. 400 respondents participated.
Earlier it became known that at Kherson State University the university’s structure will be changed. Instead of eight faculties, five will remain.
