In January 2026, more than 85,000 liters of alcohol were sold in the temporarily occupied left-bank area of Kherson region.
Pro-Russian media report this.
It is also noted that 1.75 million liters of alcoholic products were sold in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, in Luhansk — 1 million liters, in Zaporizhzhia region — 314 thousand liters.
Earlier it was reported that in one of the stores in the temporarily occupied Kherson region the occupiers tested a new system for selling alcoholic beverages with age verification through the “Mah” app.
Recall that in September a “law” was issued that prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages on “holiday” dates, which correspond to the Russian calendar.
