A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Volodymyr Lashch, who earlier sustained a severe wound while carrying out a combat mission, has died.
This was reported by the Velyka Oleksandrivka settlement territorial community.
Volodymyr Lashch was a resident of the settlement of Velyka Oleksandrivka. He was called up to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 8, 2024. On April 29, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission, he sustained a severe chest wound.
After treatment and rehabilitation, the serviceman returned to duty. However, on January 5, 2026, his heart stopped.
Recall that in the Kharkiv region during the performance of a combat mission — was killed a serviceman from the Beryslav district of Kherson region, Oleksandr Batrin.
