The Kherson region police are investigating a war crime committed by Russian forces on December 28, 2022, in the village of Korobky in Kakhovka district.
This was reported by the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Kherson region.
According to the investigation, occupying forces entered the territory of a private household on 40 Years of Victory Street and, under unknown circumstances, killed a local resident. He was 63 years old.
Law enforcement officers are collecting evidence and identifying witnesses to the incident. Anyone who has any information or may have been a witness is asked to contact the Telegram bot @Warcrimes_Police_KhS_UA_bot.
Note that law enforcement officers are also investigating a war crime by Russian forces committed during the occupation of Velyka Oleksandrivka. There, the occupiers shot dead a 60-year-old local resident.
