The police of Kherson region are investigating a war crime committed by Russian military personnel on March 15, 2024, in the village of Kokhany in Skadovsk district.
This was reported by the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kherson region.
According to the investigation, at about 22:00 occupying forces on Tsentralna Street opened fire with automatic weapons on local residents. Three men aged 44, 61 and 40 were killed.

Recall, law enforcement are also investigating a war crime committed by Russian military on the territory of the Azovo-Syvash National Nature Park on the spit of Byriuchyi Island. There the Russians carried out illegal hunting of animals: deer, mouflons, Przewalski’s horses, wild boars, game birds and other fauna species that are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine.
