The fallen defender of Ukraine Oleksandr Kalashnikov was awarded the Order «For Courage» III degree (posthumously).
This is stated on the page of the Velykooleksandrivska settlement council.
The relevant decree was signed by the President of Ukraine on November 12, 2025. The award was conferred for personal courage and selfless actions during the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The state award was presented to the brother of the deceased.
Recall, the soldier was killed in 2024 while carrying out a combat mission in the Kursk region. The soldier was 45 years old.
