A writer from Oleshky, Valeriy Galadym, won 2nd place in the All-Ukrainian literary competition named after Olena Teliha and Oleh Olzhych «Only those who could laugh in pain are given victory!».

Valeriy Galadym took 2nd place in the nomination «Fiction» with his novella «Return».
The winners were chosen from among 95 works submitted from across Ukraine.
According to the contest rules, the works of the laureates of 2024 and 2025 will be printed in a collective anthology and presented to the authors along with the awards.
The community recalled that Valeriy Galadym is a veteran who fought in the East during the ATO.
Earlier it was reported that the novel by the Kherson writer Oksana Zenenko’s “The Hetman’s Associate” received 2nd prize in the international literary competition “Coronation of the Word” 2024. The winners were announced on October 31.
