Svitlana Volkova, an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the Medical Faculty of Kherson State University, died at the age of 86.

For more than 40 years of her professional activity, Svitlana Volkova dedicated herself to working at the university. She is the author of more than 100 scientific and methodological works. For her significant contribution to the development of the educational sphere and the education of young people, she was awarded the badge «Excellence in Education of Ukraine».
She also initiated charitable events, in particular fundraising to assist Ukrainian servicemembers and the children of fallen soldiers.
