The death of a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vasyl Kovtonyuk, from the Novorayska community of Kherson region has been confirmed.

Vasyl Kovtonyuk lived in the village of Monastyrske.
For a long time he was considered missing.
Based on DNA examination results, the serviceman’s death was officially confirmed.
Recall that in December 2025 in the war was killed a resident of Skadovsk, junior sergeant Stanislav Zamikhora.
