A special unit of the National Police in the Kherson region received more than 50 drones.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The drones will be used to counter Russian forces on the front line. They will also be involved in evacuating residents from dangerous areas.
The equipment will be used to assist those affected by shelling and to maintain law and order in populated areas.
The Verkhnerohachytska community allocated 3 million hryvnias for the purchase of drones.
Earlier we wrote that, for the Day of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, units of a separate mechanized brigade defending the Kherson region, received more than a dozen electronic warfare systems and about three hundred drones.
