An entrepreneur from the Kherson region, owner of the canning factory “Demyanovich” in Posad-Pokrovskyi, Heorhiy Chervenkov, has been awarded the Order “For Merit” III degree.
This is stated in a decree by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Heorhiy Chervenkov began working in 1986 at the Kherson Machine-Building Plant named after Petrovsky, where he worked as a fitter-foreman of mechanical assembly work.
After that, he worked in wholesale and retail trade.
In 2002 he founded his own company, which was engaged in wholesale trade of canned and grocery products under its own trademark “Demyanovich”, production of products to individual orders, as well as trading a wide range of glass containers for industrial production and household needs.
In 2014 the entrepreneur purchased a semi-ruined canning factory, which was later restored and put into operation. The enterprise specialized in the production of juices and fruit-and-vegetable preserves, and in wholesale trade of glass containers.
During the full-scale invasion the factory was destroyed, but in November 2023 the Chervenkov family began its reconstruction.
